Muvees Thursday, March 12, 2009 Have been watching quite a lot of movies these few weeks. Watched Curious case of benjamin button, Suspect X, Departure and Slumdog in the past 3 weeks, which is pretty much the most i have watch in such a short period. Curious Case was pretty much abt living life in the opposite direction, from old to young. It was a bit sad in the end, and does bring one to think abt life after watching the show. Brad Pitt is still quite shuai despite being so old. That itself is already worth watching for the girls. Suspect X was perhaps the less interesting movie of the lot. Circling about a crime, how 2 genius try to fight it out and figure each other out and how one eventually won. The twist at the end of the story was pretty good, take note of the pple at the the riverside :P. Departure was abt a person who took up the job of putting corpse into the coffin. The job pertains to dressing, washing, and putting makeup on the deceased before the funeral. The overall mood of the show was pretty grim. But the process of the job was pretty much quite impressive and interesting. It can be seen the great responsibility these pple have. The scene at the cremetorium was touching to say the least. My friend cried during that scene. Slumdog millionaire, the award winning oscar show, that everyone have been raving about. Who wants to be a millionaire? Although the start of the movie was a bit messy, things cleared up after that. The linking of the millionaire questions with the life of ramal was quite good. But it is left to ponder why the hell did they do the bollywood dance at the end of the show, it was perhaps the spoiler in the show. Coincidences can be seen most appropriate in this show, how things are fated to happen and will happen. Stuffs happen, try to make sure that it happens the way u wanna be, or at least accept how it has happened! The event must have happen for a good reason! |
