Singapore thru Saturday, January 27, 2007 It was a gripping game btw singapore n malaysia in asean football championship semis. This closely fought match ended 1-1 (5-4 p) to singapore. The first half was pretty boring as everyone played a conservative game, with neither trying to be v adventurous. But the second haf was simply exciting as Singapore upped the pressure N threaten to break malaysia down. But the deadlock was broken thru a blunder by the MVP of last tiger cup. Lewis simply touch the ball n spinned it into the net and was desparately trying to claw it back frm the line. Daniel cross in n riduan scamble it in. After tt sg pressure nv relli work out, and it was up to penalty. Which was neck to neck till last one where malaysia player missed, to the roar of the fans. I was at home n the moment penlaty was missed, i shouted out. At the same time, there was big cheers frm arnd the neighbourhood. Everyone was cheering... Look like SG team quite well-supported ar acty... Damn happy tt Singapore wins, which mean at least i will have chance to go down to support them at kallang next time. Acty it is rather far away, but i guess shld be ok for me... juz need to find the best way to get there in the next few days. My working partner was another girl frm NJC called yuan ping. Guess we will be workign quite closely these 2 months, Since we are the only newbies there. My boss is quite frenly( acty he was once a pastor), the other staffs are oso acty quite nice so far, Hope to know them better in the coming days. First day at work n we were sent to attend some flu talk which was for all staffs. Din relli find it useful in anyway, sort of craps acty. After tt went to my department and started work. Basically did some filing as workstation not ready for use yet... The job was rather repititive n sian. Sort of brainless acty. Overall the job is still ok la, except tt i need to wear formal clothes. Hope i can relli get into some real data entry job tmr lo ... SG vs Laos Wednesday, January 17, 2007 It has been a while since i last went to National stadium. Met up with Max Zhiping Zhebing wayne Kenbang for dinner. wonder y the whole area only seems to have steamboat only lo, only found a indian kopitiam after a long walk. The walk to stadium was damn long, especially when PA closed the door, which was a shortcut thru the place. There wasnt relli a lot of pple there to support Singapore Team. Papers report only 5000+ pple there only, especially when this is quite a big competition. Perhaps it is becuz it is a working day... The game was definitely worth the money, wif 11 goals scored in 90 mins. Singapore was overwhelming the Laos frm the moment referee started the match. Laos was physically weaker n shorter n Singapore was captalizing on these advantages in everyway. Laotians are also giving away ball n possession like freebies. Within 10 min 2 nil up le, getting boring actually . But hte secong haf was gd, with singapore getting into the act n starting to attack more aggressively, which was repaid wif 8 goals. With Noh alam Sha getting the monster bicycle kick at the end. The crowd was simply enjoying the show. They were even Worshipping the striker for his marksmanship. Gd game n gd performance, hope tt Singapore team will excel in the championships. First job interview Monday, January 15, 2007 Receive notice to go for job interview at NKF in the morning as admin assistant. Tog went down to NKF Building at Blastier, which is quite close to jasmine's house. And it was a long long wait as the interviewer were late... There was another candidate also waiting there, despite the agency pple says only 2 applicants( me n keldren). It was a pretty anxious wait, was wondering wat they gonna ask me, but at least got keldren there ot talk cock wif me lo... I was interviewed by 3 people, which were quite frenly la actually. Was quite calm during the interview and was able to answer the qn, but did not know how well i did la. Heard frm the interviewer tt it was pretty much a data entry job actually, but to me shld be no prob i guess. In the evening, i received the call frm agency tt i have clinched the job. Pretty happy tt i got a job at first go, will be hoping to do well in it... But also quite sad tt i m not able to work tog wif keldren for the job... Sob sob... anyway good luck to keldren for his job seeking... all da best!!! Pan's Labyrinth Sunday, January 14, 2007 Went to watch the movie today at Vivocity. It was a Spanish movie abt a princess trying to get back to her realm, thru doing 3 tasks to test her. Basically the movie izit tt amazing and was pretty boring in the middle. Ended up thinking tt this movie background aint relli connected to the story, something like the magical story is insufficient thus they juz added a bit of action to it. Overall this movie is not nice... 3 stars *** Boring Boring Friday, January 12, 2007 Last time say NS damn stupid n a waste of time... Now say acty got too much time to waste in there oso not bad... At least got pple talk cock n play tog... Now everyday go learn car, then laze arnd whole day. Last time say wanna come home to use com... Now on comp liao, oso dunno wat to do wif it... Basically online everyday and every sec i m at home... Sometime got pple online, but after a while oso lazy to talk wif them le Only thing tt changed, perhaps is tt now, I spent hrs watching TV, look at comp screen all day long, Stare blankly to the rm, or juz simply slp the day away. Confession of Pain Monday, January 08, 2007 2nd week of being jobless again, so went to meet up kenbang n Stonez to watch Confession of Pain at J8. Movie ticket are so much cheaper in the weekdays, Cost us 7 each only, and the whole theatre only like 3 row of pple, juz like we booked the theatre like tt , shiok... Shld watch movie in the weekdays next time... 痛苦是必然的，伤过才会珍惜Sort of the theme of the show... Tony Leung n Takeshi still as shuai as ever, and of course their acting skills are superb. The movie talks abt the feud of tony with the family of his wife for the massacre of his family when he was young. What followed was a carefully planned conspiracy to kill off all involved, even his wife. What goes arnd, comes arnd... Dun let hatred get to you such tt u dun even treasure what u actually already have. Remember, even the person closest to you cannot be trusted... Anyway this movie pretty gd, thou the plot seems a bit shallow, but the gd acting of tony leung n takeshi probably makes up for it. Probably give 3.5 stars for this Movie. Wala Wala Saturday, January 06, 2007 Went to Walawala wif weilin max zhiping Wayne N Hoeman. Reached Holland V at arnd 940pm, by then it was already v crowded at Wala wala. ended up queueing for 1 hr juz to get in. The atmosphere was pretty gd, especially if it wasnt tt crowded. Perhaps if we had went early n taken the front tables, we can enjoy the live band more. The band there was EIC who also perform at timbre n balaclava. Muz say tt the band is quite gd, especially Rai who sings quite well, but the chinese singer jack isnt tt great. Wala Wala defintely gd place to chill out wif frens and enjoy urselves... Death Note 2 Monday, January 01, 2007 Went to watch Death Note 2 wif pengkiat boxing n kenrick ar marina sq. Be4 tt went to play arcade...Nv fail to amaze how addictive bishi bashi is. It seems to bring pple tog thru participation, gd way to improve relationships. Anyway, the movie was great, lots of twists n turns in it. Definitely better than the first death note. V impressed wif how L went abt his deductions. Both light n L are juz pure gensius. From the show, one can see how one clever mind can become evil. When the thin line btw justice n evil is ambiguious, pple juz step over it. on a lighter note, misa misa is relli cute n chio, no wonder so many pple like her now. For pple out there do go n watch the show, it will be value for money definitely. **** 4 stars.
