Car Accident Saturday, March 28, 2009 My sister has been involve in several road accidents since she drove for the past 1.5 yrs. There is always a think line between life n death. Luck also pretty much play a bit part whether one can drive safely. Was on our way to Kristel Birthday party at Loyang, with shiwei, charles, pek..... It was raining damn heavily and the road condition wasnt relli tt great. The convoy of 5 cars was driving along Bahar flyover. Then came the sharp bend. Shiwei was like "wow" when he drove into a paddle of water, as the car was unstable. What followed was even more terrifying. Shi wei shouted that some car ram into the barrier. We immediately stop by the road side, den was frantically calling the rest of the convoy whether all was well, den we found out that Charles car crashed into the barricade. From what the rest commented, his car skidded, den the back bumped into the barricade, den the car lifted of the ground before landing. We detoured back to the scene, not knowing whether charles was ok or not! That was quite a frightening experience. We saw the back of the car totally cui-ed, even the muffler was on the ground! All the tires were punctured, but luckily, Charles did not get injured. He was totally stunned and looked shaken up, a bit distraught to be exact. Heard from pek they all he was like sitting in his driver seat and din even get out of the car after the car landed, stunned i guess. On the way back to charles car, We saw that there was another accident further back that one was even worse, some pple were even bleeding, so it was pretty lucky that Charles was totally fine other than being shocked. So we accompanied Charles to wait for his parents and the EMAS to come n tow the car away. Think that poor Charles muz be stunned, den his parents confirm still chide him like dunno wat one... They should relli be thankful that Charles was still safe! other cars could have easily bang into Charles' car as it spun out of control when it hit the water puddle. Our group was still quite brotherly and keep on comforting Charles. When the TP came, they chased the rest of out convoy away as we were posing a hindrance to the traffic there. So we juz went over to shiwei house to regroup. Even as i m typing this, dunno how charles is doing man! Hope that at least he is alright, car scrapped den scrap oso bo bian. Parents better support him man, rather than make him even more cham. Good Luck to him and all da best. After viewing this accident, the rest of us was thinking, it could be a massive pile up if we were like following v close to each other. Really damn lucky to be still alive i guess. Will be driving damn carefully next time. Dun want to see myself be like that! |
