Overseas Volunteer Expedition Friday, July 18, 2008 Going to be overseas for 2 weeks. Overseas volunteer expedition. Going to Laos and do some community work, hope that I will be going to enjoy the experience it. Something totally new to me, Looking forward to it!!! Punggol Jetty Friday, July 11, 2008  Holidays are always so free, so i went cycling arnd the punggol area look for a seaside or something like that n came upon punggol jetty. Never really came to this place be4. I took arnd 45 min to get to this place. It is like relli the end of Punggol Road. The trip there was pretty tiring with the uneven roads. It is like v long time since i last saw a place that was this laid back. There is a small patch of sandy beach and this place is quite quiet. There was a couple there enjoying their afternoon and 2 uncles there fishing. Quite a nice place to come along to relax and juz enjoy the breeze. From here you can even see Pulau Serangoon, or pple called it Coney island. The other island you can find is pulau ubin in the north east. Having been at city centre n build up area, sometime it is good to find this "rural" place to hang out. If anyone one to go, can juz cycle there, or take bus 82 to go down n relax... |
