Subway@NTU Monday, April 07, 2008 Yeah the craze about the new food outlet beside LT1A, all the old Chang kee, McDonald, Canadian pizza and subway. The place was flooded with people at noon when me n Eugene was there to have lunch. Probably due the hype over the food outlets. So we juz went to eat at can A, thinking that we will come back again in the evening.... Come 630pm in the evening, Woah the queue still damn long la, somehow, i dunno why but we started queueing at the subway. Which was pretty much the biggest mistake of the day la. What followed was a damn long wait of 1h30min... Juz for some sandwiches... When we reach the front of the queue then heard that subway is going to close at 8 cuz the business was too good.... i mean wat rubbish is that leh. Business good oso dun want. Everyone in the queue was like if the queue stop in front of me we are going to tear the shop down like tt la. Ok so when we reach the counter, basically the bread is all gone liao in the end waited like 5 min for the new freshly baked bread, but well wat is 5 min compared to our 1hr 30 min. So we got our food, it tasted quite good.( I mean after queuing for 1 hr 30 min and you are damn hungry, any food is nice la.) Nonetheless, this muz be the first time the bread in subway is seriously pipping hot, that probably the best thing to happen for this meal. After eating, i saw Canadian pizza people sending pizza to subway there, and the manager was like grinning so widely la, which really mean their business muz be relli relli good today i guess. But seriously with such long queue there shldnt be any doubt abt that i guess. Basically, unless the queue relli reduce a lot in the future, i doubt i am going to spend this kind of time juz to have subway in NTU... |
