Interhall CChess Wednesday, January 09, 2008 This is the first time i officially entered a cchess competition. Actually it has been a long time since i last played cchess, but still felt the urge to join the interhall cchess, thinking that it would be fun. Haven been relli in such a competitive mood probably since SYF in JC. Is like having forget all the competitive spirit that was there all along. 2 Days of competition were over, and seriously speaking i felt that our team's fate is sort of like at the edge of the cliff,slight down and will be on free fall le. The record reads 2-3 , 5-0, 3-2, 2.5-2.5, 0.5-4.5. Which is really mid table only,dun think we can make it to thurs which is the semi at all. Did the most stupid mistake in the first game today and it cost the team a pt. A damn valuable point. 3.5-1.5 is definitely a reasonable result for the team rather than 2.5-2.5, but I lost it in my game. Perhaps I was too anxious to attack, but definitely I dun think i can really forgive myself if I cost the team the chance to get into the semis. 1 move, 1 stupid move, mabbe i have really sabo my teammates... Nonetheless, they always say you have to move on, and try to win the other games. But seriously, I will always keep this game in mind and really work harder and help the team get through. Hope for the Best and be ready to tackle the worst scenario ! |
