Nana 世上的另一个我 Sunday, October 28, 2007 Saw another show on Chnl 61 today... Somehow spent another 2 hr watching movie again, despite impending exam and slackness whole day round. But nonetheless, felt that it was time well spent. Orignally was attracted by the female actress but was much more attracted to the movie due to the many different interactions and how friendship could relli last. 2 Girls of totally different character stayed together juz by chance and set up a beautiful friendship. Stood by each other as they went through their broken relationships and stuff. Being there for people may not mean staying n talk talk talk console console console, Juz being arnd would sometime be enough, to let them know that there is someone out there they can count on when the odds are down... Sometime people who look sunny and strong up front may actually be the one all gloomy n helpless, but juz chose not to show it out. Juz by extending out a helping hand or a listening ear may be all it need for these pple to spill out all their trouble and sorrow... Quite touch by the show... Pple can go n watch this show too... Bish somehow every sat after watching tv also feel like grumbling online one.... ZzZzZzZzZz.... Janice's Birthday Saturday, October 27, 2007  Hehe... Happy 21st Birthday for Janice!!! Thanks you for the door gift, Janice! The theme of the birthday was Uniform party, but as usual, only a few of us wore sch uniform. Was together wif eugene when we reached there. We were having vegetarian buffet outside the Room and chatting away, together with the rest of the WSCE pple. The vege buffet was quite nice. Next, we went to sing karaoke. Actually only ming min, peiwen and other frens sang on stage. The songs there was not that new, hence a lot of people was not singing. The uncle controlling the music was quite funny as he kept on trying to play songs that are not relli suitable for our occasion. All the birthday songs singing and cake cutting were done. The part of making birthday wishes were quite funny as everyone was guessing and hinting wat janice third wish was... everyone was thinking the third wish was for her to be tog with...... After that some took photos, while others continue to sing karaoke. Muz say that one of Janice NIE fren was good at singing, so good that everone was captivated by her heavenly voice. Thanks here to janice for the invitation... Hope all your wishes come true Marketing Group  Ok This is my Marketing group pple... From left: me, tengsiang, nicole, cat, laiyan and Johnson. Had a Great time doing project with them... Finally presentation done liao today in the evening... It was so so, not tt great, but at least it wasnt attacked by Arthur Soh.. So glad it is over... so stressful the past week trying to settle this project. But perhaps it is only when pressure comes then we can get things done, as we finally competed the project yest... So it bring the end to my first experience of business side of studies, something away from the normal mug mug nature of engineering... It is quite a miracle that we were able to pull out this project althou we were always so slack... will always rem the way we tried to work outside national library, which was quite desparate... Of cuz the sat we spent to try to get these things done... Although we may have get together from different fac, different backgrd and stuffs, i do feel quite close to these grp of pple as they are quite a fun bunch to get together wif... Good thing is that Teng Siang, Johnson,Laiyan, are probably trying to get business minor, hence we can get through the process and get lessons tog in the future sems... Already looking forward to working tog wif them again... Okie... end of update go study le.... CAs coming up Gonna work hard hard hard... 西游记第一百零一回之月光宝盒 Sunday, October 14, 2007 You juz wun be sick of certain great shows. This is juz one of them... Dun even rem when was the first time i acty watch this show le... Probably arnd 10 yrs ago? Althou this show dooesnt have the so call v zai lighting effect and stuff, yet this is still as captivating as before. I relli miss the second episode of this series... relli hope that will be able to see it again. Especially the part when zhu ying was abt to die and Stephan chow was in pain yet continue to hold her in his arms. The atmosphere was so touching. Can still hear the music ringing in my ears as i think of it... If on tv got show again or anyone got the vcd or dvd pls tell me!!! Zhang Zheng Yue concert Saturday, October 13, 2007  Thanks a million to IZ for getting the tickets for us for the Ah Yue concert. Heard that it was quite popular and Del also nv get the ticket althou he queued up for it on wed... Anyway the school concert was a sell out, and LKC was flooded wif pple. But the queue outside LKC was really long and we had to wait for a log time as ah yue's plane was delayed by arnd an hour or so. The seats that we got aint that gd, as seen from the photo... it was the side of the LT... But nonetheless was there to listen to the music and enjoy the atmosphere,not to look at ah yue. The whole atmoshpere was not very gd at the beginning but as the show carried on, everyone stood up and was swaying along wif the music.There was a mixture of old n new songs, but the audience was perhaps more accustomed to the old songs hence was more receptive to the old songs. The first time i heard ah yue live was during the SuperBand final, it did relli hit me that he was a very good stage performer,wif good stage prescence. This time it was also so. Althou he nv spoke a lot , but he was still able to lift the mood of the audience. By the time he sang the last song, there was already "encore" "encore" in the LT. Originally, the manager din want to let them perform any song but they finally give in to the demand of the crowd. 爱我别走 was the finale song. As he belted out this song, most of the people in the LT was singing along and enjoying themselves. After the concert it was autograph time as pple rush on stage to get the autograph from Zhang Zheng Yue. While iZ was busy autograph on his lyrics sheets......  Eugene Andy n me were busy taking photo wif Pei Fen... And can see that andy was exremely happy to get the chance to take pic wif her...And we were not the only ones taking photo wif her, imagine how popular she was. Overall, the concert was damn nice. Much better than the Cherry Bloom one.The songs were nicer, the stage prescence better and most imptly the whole atmosphere was great as the pple were more high... Thats more like a School concert!!! |
