Hit-N-Run Saturday, September 22, 2007 Was driving from hall back home at arnd 11+ after the enjoyable night at miloboi's MAF celebration... Together with Ronnie, Jingwei and Weichee, we were travelling on KJE i think, was exiting at bukit batok then suddenly, there was a whole screen of sparks ahead. Next wat we saw was 2 motorcyclist being flung frm their bike probably after hitting the car ahead. Luckily i was not driving that closely, so i was able to steer away frm them, or else... probably be smashed like a pan cake liao le. Quite fortunately, the 2 bikers still managed to roll off to the side after they landed. The white hyundai car plate number is SGG6905E . If next time u see this white hyundai be extra careful. Anyway after that jingwei went back to the exit to look for the 2 guys, but they are not there anymore... Hence we also nv call the police for this hit-n-run case... Hope they are fine man... Seriously, Pple out there pls dun ride bikes, it is relli dangerous sia... At Least this time there was no casulty... but if wait until got causlty then perhaps it is too late le bah... Running Thursday, September 20, 2007 Time has come to start running again... Road to rehabilitation begins... Carelessness Sunday, September 16, 2007 Carelessness have always been a problem that i haven overcome... I willl drop this thing here, lose somethings there. It is rather a bad habit... Ever since young, parent have not been entrusting me wif holding stuff cuz i always lose them all... Cant count the numerous times i had lost wallet la or umbrella n stuffs. Today went sending flyers to promo the garang guni next week. Went to MC donald for breakfast n Dropped my wallet unknowingly... By the time i realised, it was already lunchtime liao le... If got pple pick up oso dunno take the wallet until where liao le... Now if lose wallet comfirm big trouble one lo... so many cards n stuff inside... IC, matric card, atm card, 11B. Make police report oso dunno how to say lo.... Here Gonna thanks the great staffs at Mc donald that pick up my wallet n kept it... Really is save my life man... Lucky is staff pick up one... if not mabbe kenna kapo liao le lor... Also thanks my sis for driving me to JP to find it... Have been pretty lucky all my life.... at least until now... But dun think i can relli depend on my luck all the time... Gonna learn to be more careful and take care of all my stuffs... Have been telling myself that since dunno when liao... but dun seems to be working lo.... Looks like i juz gonna be more careful than careful... Orientation @ Marina Bay Tuesday, September 11, 2007  Wohoo.... It was orientation at marina bay on sat and about 30 to 40 pple came. The field there was pretty small due to the construcion in the area, but nonetheless, we managed to find enough space to play the games. First up was whacko,which was pretty unsuccessful due to us not knowing each others name. After that was using straws to build the tallest tower. My group star-based tower got second, although it wasnt relli stable... next up was the 三连拍. Modified tick tac toe came up next be4 the modified 100 sec no NG. Most of the game are brain exhausting like all the maths qn that we had to solve to clear the 100 sec no NG. The final game was Captain ball, which we won too...  Yups the group that won the games...and we got lotsa titbits as presents... yummy...SO the games ended and we proceeded to zhen fa huo hai xian for steamboat. 
Haha this is the mess that we created .... the food was overwhelming and we relli had our fill... My table lasted the shortest, other tables still ate for a long long time. Too long nv eat a lot liao stamina drop a lot....
Ok everyone had their fun and games liao, and hope everyone had enjoyed themselves... Now looking forward to activities in AWWA, hope it is interesting too... Welfare Service Club Elders Wednesday, September 05, 2007  WSCE is my new CCA in NTU. It is actually a volunteering group in NTU that help out at Asian Women Welfare Society(AWWA) at next to AMK Hub. Althou it is called AWWA home, but it is a place for Elders, not women only. On saturday, the orientation was juz introing us to the Home and the basic facility n wat may be in store for us in the coming mths or years. the picture above shows the group of arnd 40-50 pple sitting arnd interacting. Next was the self introduction... Me caught on cam!After that we were split into groups and went abt the orientation. My group leader was Priscilla and she brought us arnd on internal n external tours. and we visited the kitchen where we brought some sandwiches which was prepared be4hand and distributed to the elders staying in the 4 levels. Next up was the ice breakers.A bit tu but pretty effective for us to remembers the group members' name. My group members name are, Soowei, Siew Lee,Han zhong,Sue yuen, Priscilla, Joanna, oops dun rem all the names acty... The group was pretty subdued perhaps due to this being the first time the group met up. Hope it will get better as we meet up more regularly. Anyway looking forward to the 2nd Orientation cum steamboat dinner this Sat, hope it is fun filled n exciting... Driving instructor Tuesday, September 04, 2007 Have been a driving instructor last few days for my sis, although my driving skills are quite cui. This by itself is such a stressful event liao le. Without being able to visualize the turning of the wheel when reversing. After teaching her for 3 4 days le, she still doesnt register a lot of stuffs that i tell her. Makes me....rather irritated, unpatient, and untolerable. Perhaps different pple will learn things differently and also at different speed. Mabbe i dunno how to be a gd instructor, or my teaching style is lousy. But i am relli relli tired in this teaching thing. Time for her to go to the professional private instructor... Take it as either i save her or i save myself lo. Stressed !!! |
