Doom Movie review Saturday, October 29, 2005 After the makan session, slowly but surely everyone was going off liao le.... only left me eugene poh and La. Went to watch Doom at JB cinema The star of movie was THE ROCK, hu was the sgt n oso commanding officer of the RRST. It set in the world in the future think is 2046( chinese movie?). where there is suppose to have a pathway to MARS, like all the Doom game la. then there was an outbreak n a lot of scientist were killed, so they were dispatched to kill of the pple n take back the info... ended up tt the scientist in the station were testing wif adding of the 24 chromosomes, which was supposed to be able to make pple stronger, smarter, heal faster, and a lot of other benefits.. But apparently tt was provided tt the pple relli got a gd heart and not controlled by the evil thinking in them. so as usual other than the main character,A, and the ROCK, everyone was killed n infected. So A was seriously injured so his sister injected the 24 chromosome to him making him stronger faster n clever. Rock was also infected, in the end the 2 of them fought it out.. wif A winnign n bring her sisi back to earth thru the Arc. The lamest part of the movie was where A recover frm the injection of chromosome n the movie became a FPS. Distinctively it was liek the game itself, all the shooitng n stuff... and even used chainsaw to fight. But can u imagine one mutant laughing at A be4 being blasted.. Lame stuff i guess Overall, actiion 8/10 story line 6/10 representation of game 5/10 final score: 7/10 |
